Watching movies with George W. Bush...
Vanity Fair ran a column recently that I quite enjoyed. It's from a college friend of Barbara's who got invited to the White House frequently in 2001-2002, then ended up regretting saying "yes." Worth a read.
Nick Polasky from Ketchikan, Alaska here. My sister was just in town visiting me, and after talking a bit about CSB/SJU, I was looking over the website and I visited your webpage, and found out you have a blog! I'll look forward to reading!
Interesting article. I have searched to find some things I appreciate about George W., but this is somthing that I find unfortunately not too suprising. I just wish he would have listed what the movies they watched were - I'm sure he kept track of them somewhere.
Another thing I was thinking of about a month ago, what was the name of the newspaper you had us all subscribe to in the History of the West class? I cannot remember the name.
Another thing, I still have a thank-you gift to send you. It is a small card with your name done in Chinese caligraphy. I got it in Hong Kong after you did a letter of recommendation for me for law school. I have kept it for about five years, but when I find it, I will drop it in the mail.

Hope all is going well out in Minnesota!
